Governor Charity Ngilu has consoled with friends and family of the late Patrick Kisunza Kavivya who together with his wife, son and daughter-in-law lost their lives following a road accident.

In a speech read by Trade and investment CeCM, Mrs. Esther Kilonzi, Governor Ngilu consoled the family and urged them to reamin steadfast in prayer.

Elsewhere; Members of Financial Services Association FSA, in Kitui are soon going to reap benefits through the empowerment funds soon to be issued to identified beneficiaries.

Revealed by the Trade and industrialization CeCM, Mrs. Esther Kilonzi, during this year’s Itoleka FSA annual general meeting, the County Government of Kitui was in the final stages of engaging this institution in an arrangement that will see members of the 12 currently active branches benefit form this fund.

The arrangement will see 30 Million shillings from the empowerment fund kitty set aside for members of the association with keen interest in directly empowering homesteads and small businesses operated exclusively by members of the association.

Further, she called upon the members present to enroll for universal health coverage under the National Hospital Insurance Fund, NHIF as a sure means to accessing healthcare not only in public health institutions but also select private hospitals countrywide.

In the meeting, all the 403 members of Itoleka FSA were present.
