Kitui Governor Dr Charity Ngilu on Wednesday held a meeting with grassroots leaders as her deputy Governor Dr Wathe Nzau failed to show up in the meeting because he was not aware of the meeting, neither was he invited .
A cross section of Kitui County Assembly Members from Wiper, NARC and Maendeleo Chap Chap yesterday accompanied grass root leaders to say Pole to Governor Charity Kaluki Ngilu at her Ithookwe residence.
The honorable Members agreed with one voice that “Kivila kisyoka vala kii” and they will all work together in achieving development and prosperity forthe Kitui people.
They reiterated their commitment and support to Governor Ngilu as she seeks a second mandate to continue serving Kitui people in the forthcoming polls.
