Mwingi North Mp Aspirant Charles Mwalimu on Friday held a high level consultative meeting with his excellency the Deputy President William Samoei Ruto.
The leaders discussed a variety of issues that affect the people in Mwingi North and he shared with Dp Ruto his thoughts on how best we can implement sustainable programs that will ensure our youth and women benefit from his administration.
Among the key issues we discussed is improvement of infrastructure to spur economic growth in Mwingi North, Wakili told Kitui Press.
“I noted that despite Mwingi North being endowed with minerals like limestone, investors have shied away from setting up base in the region due to lack of roads, water and constant supply of electricity”
He further shared with him his vision for the youth, women and small businesses to spur growth.
The Dp Ruto promised to incorporate his thoughts in his economic blue print for the larger Ukambani,
Charles Mwalimu added.
