RE: REQUEST FOR A STATEMENT REGARDING KCSE CERTIFICATES BEING HELD ILLEGALLY BY VARIOUS HEADS OF SECONDARY SCHOOLS ACROSS THE REPUBLIC.

The former Kitui Senator hon David Musila is seeking a statement on the fate of KCSE certificates being held irregularly held by various institutions of education across the country.

The bill he sponsored in 2012 sought to compel the head of schools not to withhold certificate to students regardless of fee balances in schools.

Speaking to the Media reporters, hon David Musila said. “I sponsored this bill in 2012 – and it was approved by the Parliament; The law bars any institution from withholding certificates for students not only in high school but the covers all institutions including universities. I trust that this time round the government will implement the law” David Musila added.
