FRIDAY, 29TH OCTOBER, 2021, THE COUNTY AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECT.
Kitui CECM in the Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development Stephen Kyalo Maithya (Watutu) today, held a meeting with a team from MUSYI-Development Company led by the Managing Director Alex Kieme, where he received the Architectural drawing plans (Blue prints), which will be used in establishing Kitui County Affordable Housing Project at Manyenyoni Site.
According to CECM Maithya, those blue prints have given way for the commencement of construction work, of the eagerly waited housing project in the County, by Kitui residents.
That Project which will establish 1,200 affordable housing units in the County, was launched by H.E Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga accompanied by Governor Charity Ngilu and other dignitaries, earlier this year.
Also present in that meeting was the Chief Officer County Treasury who is also the Ag. C.O for Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development Dr Justus Kalii(PhD),Chief Engineer Stephen Kithogo and Assistant Director Housing and Urban Development Ms Agnes Mulwa.
