Kitui County Government under the leadership of Governor Ngilu has kicked off the county bursary distribution program in Ikanga ward.
The exercise was spearheaded by Water and Irrigation Chief officer Kioko Kiilu, is concurrently happening in all the other 39 Wards in the County.
A total of 40Million has been disbursed today to over 7,000 beneficiaries across the county, which is a major boost to the government’s agenda of Education and Youth Empowerment.
The beneficiaries were selected by parents at the village level, during a public participation exercise conducted by the county government in November 2021.
