Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu on Friday 21st January 2022 began the distribution of bursary cheques to support need students across the county.
The exercise will be led by Executive members and their chief Officers in their respective areas.
In Kitui rural, Mbitini Ward, the exercise was led by Chief Officer in the office of the Governor Mr GK Zakayo Kimanzi on behalf of the Governor Charity Kaluki Ngilu.
The cheques amounting to Ksh 40 million will be distributed to needy students to support their education.
The county staff lead by CECM and COS visited all the wards to ensure equitable distribution of the bursaries.
