Decorated Ukambani journalist has been acknowledged as a talented and creative writer of all time during a media gala awards ceremony held at Diani, South Coast Saturday evening.
Philip Muasya alias Kahindi who writes for the Standard Newspaper, a decorated wordsmith who is said to be deeply private was recognized during the awards ceremony for his talented skills in telling stories in a compelling and unmatched manner.
The decorated scribe won an award and a travel grant for his outstanding word-weaving skills for a science story he penned late last year related to family planning and the use of modern contraceptives.
Speaking to County Diary, the top scribe said he is humbled by the Award of Excellence in feature writing.
