Kitui WIPER gubernatorial candidate Dr. Malombe has vowed to increase the water supply to Kitui residents once elected in August.
Speaking at Kwa Mboya Market of Kithumula Kwa Mutonga ward of Kitui West sub-county today, Dr. Malombe said there is a need to work on increasing water points in Kitui and reducing the trekking distances in search of water.
The incoming Governor further said his administration will prioritize empowering young people through skills training and the kazi kwa vijana initiative to guarantee that they benefit from the county government.
Dr. Malombe also noted the need to among others improves the county health sector to ensure access to quality health care across Kitui.He pointed out that he will reinstate the Community health volunteers in Kitui to support sanitation in the county.
Malombe was sharing his development plan for the county and listening to the people on their expectations once elected in the August 9 polls.
