OUR STAND – KITUI TEACHERS

“WE ARE SUPPORTING DR. MALOMBE BECAUSE WE HAVE TO RESCUE THE COUNTY – TEACHERS STATE”

~ IT is finally here. The Kitui county teachers position on the governor’s race.

~ Today, in their hundreds and led by their leadership, the county teachers have affirmed their total support for Dr. Julius Malombe.

~ The teachers met and engaged Dr. Malombe and shared in his manifesto at his Ithiiani home where they had requested to meet him..

~ The teachers leadership that represents all teachers in the county and who paid Dr. Malombe a courtesy call was as follows:

¶ KUPPET led by Secretary General Kioko Mutia

¶ KUPPET County Treasurer Mr. Gregory Mbwang’a

¶ KNUT led by secretary general Simon Ndingo.

¶ KICCOSA – led Mwololo Nyala (Secretary Sports)

¶ KEPSHA – led by chairman Mr Syanda Muthoka

¶ Mwalimu National Sacco – led by Mr. Philip Maanzo

¶ Kitui Teachers Sacco led by board members Rev Munuve (chairman) & Simon Munyoki (Treasurer)

¶ BBS – a branch of KNUT led by Munyithya Augustus

¶ KNUT Chairman Kitui Branch – Mr. Kathinuku

~ Their members were in their hundreds and in one accord endorsed Dr. Malombe.

Is Mr. Benjamin Muatine, the lonely teacher of Kenya Secondary Schools Heads Association (KSSHA) who led 8 teachers to Ngilu’s home for little money reading this?

~ Well, the teachers and their leadership have vowed to support Dr Malombe in his bid to reclaim the lost glory of Kitui County.

“Consciously we have decided to support Dr. Malombe. We trust that he means well for the county and for everybody. We shall not be distracted …. We are behind Malombe,” the teachers said in their final declaration.

~ The teachers, solid professionals in their own right said they support Malombe out of their own free will, saying they will mobilize every single vote within their fraternity to vote for Malombe.

~ Dr. Malombe said he will revive the Pro – Poor Bursary Fund to benefit the needy and disadvantaged children of the county.

~ He also promised on a robust education mentorship pprogramto benefit the learners.
